Dr. Wulf Meinel (German nationality, born 1961) has over 25 years of real estate experience as an investment manager, banker and real estate lawyer. He joined Geneba in 2013 and was appointed CEO upon start of its operational activity in March 2014.
From 2001 until 2012 Wulf was a Managing Director/Partner at The Carlyle Group. During his tenure at Carlyle he realized growth and expansion strategies for Germany, the Nordics and Central Europe and played a key role in raising over € 3.5 billion for Carlyle`s three Real Estate Funds in Europe (CEREP I, II, III).
Prior he held management positions at LaSalle Investment Management and German mortgage banks. Dr. Meinel studied law in Bonn and Freiburg, holds a PhD degree in European law and a Master degree in Political Science (University of Freiburg). He is fluent in four European languages and is admitted to the bar in Munich.
Tom de Witte (Dutch nationality, born 1966) has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector. Before joining Geneba, he worked for twelve years as CFO of the Vastned Group, consisting of two Amsterdam listed Pan-European real estate funds, Vastned Retail NV and Vastned Offices/Industrial. Prior to Vastned, he gained extensive financial experience in the real estate sector as audit director for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte more than ten years. Tom is a qualified chartered accountant and has degrees in Business Economics and Dutch Law from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He is fluent in three European languages.
Randy joined Geneba as Office Manager in July 2014 where she works closely with the Management Board. Her responsibilities are the divisions premises/facilities, back-office, event organization, ICT, human resources, coordinating PR/communication and investor relations. She holds a diploma of Schoevers, Amsterdam.
Patrick has 15 years of real estate experience as an Acquisition and Asset Management professional. He joined Geneba in 2015 where he is in charge of the Asset Management of the real estate portfolio. Before, he was Director of Acquisition at Prologis in Germany where he was responsible for deal generation and execution. Previously, he held various roles in the industry with P3Parks and Heitman. Patrick holds a “Diplom-Kaufmann” from the International University of Applied Sciences, Venlo, the Netherlands and is member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Rico is working for Geneba in the position of Finance Director since Geneba started its activities. He is in the real estate business since 1999 in the sectors “development”, “real estate management” and “investment management”. Within Geneba he is responsible for Financial Management including Financial accounting, Business accounting, Valuations and Reporting. He graduated at the University of Amsterdam Business School.
Silke has 12 years of experience in property transactions. She joined in October 2015 as Associate Director in the acquisition team and is responsible for new business in Germany. Previously, she was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Realty Management GmbH/Archon Group Deutschland GmbH in the transaction advisory and transaction management division. Silke holds two state qualifications in law from the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz/Rhineland Palatinate.
Niek is an Associate Director of the acquisition team at Geneba's Amsterdam office. He is responsible for new acquisitions in The Netherlands and Germany. Niek joined Geneba in 2014. From 2012 to 2014 he was an analyst of the international real estate department at Syntrus Achmea Real Estate, focusing on non-listed real estate investments in Europe, the US and Asia Pacific. Niek received an MSc in Finance from Tilburg University.
Jeroen has joined the Acquisitions team at Geneba's Amsterdam office in August 2017. He is responsible for new acquisitions in The Netherlands and Germany. Prior to joining Geneba he worked for Prologis. As part of the Treasury and Capital Markets team he was responsible for all financing related activities of their European business. Jeroen holds a Master degree in Real Estate from Kingston University London since 2015.
In June 2015 Nienke joined Geneba’s Asset Management team, responsible for the strategic and operational management of Geneba’s assets. She works closely with third party property managers and is responsible for budgeting, reporting, coordinating post acquisition activities, setting up lease administrations and reviewing valuations.
Before, Nienke worked for 13 years at CBRE where she was a Commercial Manager and later a senior in the Business Support team.
She holds a master degree in International Real Estate from London Greenwich University and a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate from the Fontys Academy.
Since the founding of Geneba Maartje is part of the Asset Management team where she works closely with tenants, property managers and the acquisition team. She is responsible for properties in the Netherlands and West-Germany. Prior to joining Geneba Properties, Maartje worked as an interim for a Housing Association. She is a graduate from Utrecht University in Urban Geography.
Benjamin is part of Geneba’s Asset Management team since June 2015. As an Asset Manager and banker, he acquired over ten years of property experience. Before 2015, Benjamin worked as a specialist for real investments at the German private bank Hauck & Aufhäuser. Previously, he worked for the asset management firm Hannover Leasing, focused on domestic real estate projects and at KPMG, as an Audit Financial Services specialist. He holds a degree in Business Economics from the University of Munich.
Jeroen van der Neut is part of the finance team and has over 20 years of experience in Finance and Controlling and more than ten years of experience in real estate. He works for Geneba since its formation.
Stephan joined Geneba in November 2014. As a Business Controller he is part of the finance team and responsible for internal and external reporting, financial analysis, internal procedures and external audits.
Prior to joining Geneba he worked for 13 years as an auditor for Mazars in Amsterdam. He is a chartered accountant and active as a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam.
Avinash works as an Assistant Financial Controller in the finance team at Geneba Amsterdam since 2014. His main responsibilities are reporting to and assisting the Financial Controller as well as the execution of the monthly-, quarterly and yearly closing process. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
Sharishta joined Geneba in 2015 as Assistant Finance Controller. Prior to joining Geneba she worked as a Property Administrator for Cushman & Wakefield in Amsterdam. She holds a diploma in Administration from ROC Amsterdam and currently studies Applied Psychology at Hogeschool van Amsterdam.
